Notes on the Sunday Readings: Sixth Sunday of Easter, 17 May 2020
The gospel passage (John 14:15-21/24) is rich and powerful. It repays close reading and I tried to go a bit more deeply into it in the Zoom lecture. The teaching on the indwelling and role of the Holy Spirit, the Paraclete (= the one called alongside us) may be of some help in these challenging days.
