Since the relaxation of Covid 19 restrictions on May 10th we have been delighted to return to daily Mass and to have 50 mourners present at funeral Masses. As you know celebrations of First Communion and Confirmation are not permitted during May and June and are likely to begin at the end of August, starting with the Confirmations of the Classes from 2020 who
are still waiting patiently. Baptisms may well begin first, however the Archbishop is very alert to the fact that the health guidelines are still very much against indoor gatherings and family celebrations and given that the parents and children involved are mostly unvaccinated it is important not to rush these celebrations. After June 7th there will be more clarity on what is recommended and we can plan accordingly.
